Town

GS Town

The Town is a central location in Grand Summoners. Located here are 7 points of interest in game, most of which are essential to progress in game, or provide services that cannot be found elsewhere. 4 of these have ways of directly accessing them without going through the town, either in permanent or temporary shortcuts.
There are also three places of interest in town that are not named. These spots are denoted by glowing orbs floating around them. They are located:
- In the fields below the Alchemist to the left of the Adventurer's Guild.
- In the river to the right of the Adventurer's Guild.
- In the mountains to the left of the Mines.

Free Rewards Glowing orbs in the Fields.

These three locations, when tapped, give free rewards. They reset every ~2 hours. Each location gives rewards based around their location. The Fields give Food based around agriculture, such as Romaine Lettuce and Large Bread. The River gives food based around Fishing, like Fish Fillet and Prawn Soup, and materials used to craft 1★ to 3★ equipment at the Smith's. Finally, the Mountains give Equipment Enhancing material, like Ores and Spirit Stones more rarely.

Adventurer's Guild

A useful location early in progression. Ganan is in charge. Here, you can gain access to quests that can give you useful rewards in the early game. They can range from slaying a certain number of enemies, to crafting some pieces of equipment, with rewards ranging from food to Crystals. Largely, once you have completed the first 5 chapters of the Story, you would have completed all the Quests currently available.

Arena

Est's pride and joy. Here, she organizes bouts between Summoners (Players). This is the closest to PVP you will encounter in game. You are pitted against another player's most used party controlled by AI. The more wins you get, the higher your rank, and better your rewards at the end of the week. Rising in ranks and Divisions can also earn you rewards, although only the first time you reach that Division. Finally, after a certain number of wins, regardless of Division or rank, you can receive rewards ranging from Alch Stones to Crystals and even Equipment.

Alchemist

The shop of the Alchemist, Rem. Here, you can make trades with special currency to obtain rare units and equipment, as well as rare materials. During Events, unique currency can be traded here for rewards ranging from equips to material to LB Stones, or you can exchange Gems obtained in banners for Units or Equipment (assuming you have enough) or Alch Stones. You can even obtain 4★, 5★ and True Equipment using Special Tickets and, in the case of the latter, Rainbow Gems. The Alchemist, like the Smith's, will remain an extremely useful part of the game for a player's entire career.

Diner "Firecat's Den"

A famous Diner in Reigrad, owned by Sophie and her father. Here, you can make Food of 2★ and 3★ quality using ingredients obtained in quests and from Free Rewards. The higher the ★ rating, the better the buffs they can apply to your party during battle. The more you make or use each food, the higher your affinity, which makes it more likely to successfully make that food, rather than Charred Bits. If you hit an affinity of 100, you can occasionally make 2 of that food. As a Daily Quest, you will have to make food here everyday, so you will be here daily if you want a Crystal.

Mines

The newest location, these formerly abandoned Mines have become home to the enigmatic Arcana and his assistant Serah. Here they study Magistones, but they need your help to gather some. Here in the mines, you will encounter increasingly powerful enemies, and will gain quartz to get deeper and deeper. You will usually obtain ores, crystals ans spirit stones for enhancing equipment, but you can occasionally get extremely rare equipment related to the bosses you will encounter, and even Pure Quartz, which can be exchanged at the Alchemist's. The Mines are only open periodically, and for a very limited amount of time. You can still access them, but you will only find Serah there, Arcana (not so) mysteriously absent.

Shrine

Liese's home and responsibility. Coming here gives you access to lore of monsters you have beaten, Units and Equipment you have obtained, and even food and materials. It's only real purpose is to give the players the stories of Bosses and Equipment, and other than appearing in cutscenes for quests, it is not a location you have to visit frequently if you have no purpose going there.

Smith

Gilliam's the Blacksmith's location. Here, you can craft certain all 1★ and 2★ Equipment, as well as a few 3★ Equipment. You will Limit Break & Enhance your Equipment here. If there is Equipment you don't want, you can sell it here. You can see the current stats and users of your Equipment as well. Finally, you can check on how much Equipment Enhancing Materials you have, to see how much you may need for enhancing certain Equipment.
